DPDP Compliance
Explore Education India is committed to respecting your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). This page explains how we comply with India's data protection law and how you can exercise your rights.
Scope and Applicability
The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Explore Education India does not collect personal data through user registration or accounts, we may automatically collect limited data such as IP addresses, browser type, and usage patterns via analytics tools and cookies for website functionality and improvement. This data is processed solely for legitimate business purposes and in compliance with the DPDP.
Your Rights Under DPDP
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your digital personal data processed by us
- Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to deletion of your data
- Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
Note: These rights apply only to data that can be reasonably linked to you, and since we do not maintain user profiles or databases, most requests will relate to analytics data collected during your visit.
How We Comply
We do not store personal data in identifiable formats. We use third-party analytics services that anonymize IP addresses and aggregate usage data. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. All data processing is done lawfully, fairly, and transparently in accordance with the DPDP’s principles of purpose limitation and data minimization.
Data We Process
The only data we process under DPDP includes:
- IP addresses (anonymized)
- Browser and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Cookie identifiers (for functional purposes only)
This data is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other identifier.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of digital personal data is based on legitimate interest under Section 5(2) of the DPDP, to ensure the website functions properly, improve user experience, and deliver relevant educational content. We do not rely on consent for this limited processing.
