Ignou MA Hindi Admission 2018
The admission in MA Hindi distance learning programme is offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University in two sessions i.e. January-June and July-December. It is a is a two-year master degree programme. The university has applied a 2-tier system approach for the students to study it.

It is offered by School of Humanities (SOH) and it has been designed with the main objective to provide an opportunity for learners to pursue higher studies in the field of Hindi literature and also to expose learners to a wide range of Hindi literature.
The university offers the ‘Round the Year admission’ through its ‘walk-in Admission’ scheme. Students who take admission in January session can appear for examination after one year i.e. in the December examination. The exams for students admitted in July session students are conducted next year in the month of June.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate seeking admission in Master of Arts in Hindi programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University must possess Graduate degree or higher degree from any of the recognized university.
Course Duration
The student should pass or clear all the courses of this discipline within the minimum duration of 2 years and maximum duration of 5 years.
Fee Structure
The total fee is Rs. 9,000/- which has to be paid @Rs.4,500/- per year. (Note: Please confirm the latest fees in the prospectus as it may have changed during the course of time.
Age limit
There is no minimum and maximum age bar for this course.
Ignou MA Hindi Admission Procedure
The procedure to apply for admission in Ignou MA Hindi programme is very simple. The learners can either download the prospectus and application form from the university official website or they can obtain it from their nearest regional centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University.
The candidates have to fill up and submit the application form to the regional centre along with prescribed fee. They also have to submit the required supporting academic documents.
The admission related advertisement is published by the university in the local daily newspapers and also on the website at www.ignou.ac.in in the months of February-March and August- September.

To apply for admission, the learners have another option as well. They can choose the option to fill up Online admission form. It’s a very easy way to register online for the available programmes. Students can register themselves on the university online admission portal. After registration, they need to login and submit their admission form. The fee can be also paid online as well.
Ignou MA Hindi Admission Status
Once the learners are done with the admission form filling process via online or offline method, they can check their Ignou registration status online on the university official website. It will take at least 10-15 days by the university to confirm the admission.
In case, the learners find any discrepancy in the admission details, they can immediately contact their respective regional centre.
